Terms of service
The short version: you pay once after approving the written quote, you own what we build, and we keep it online.
The build
You submit a brief; we confirm scope and price; once you approve the quote and payment is made, we deliver a preview within the quoted turnaround (about one week for websites; the agreed app can be finished and built within one week after we receive your content). Two rounds of revisions are included before launch, and you can send changes as we go. App Store publishing and Apple approval may take an additional 2–3 weeks. Apple controls the review and approval timeline.
Payment
After you submit your brief we confirm the tier, page count and delivery date in writing. Once you approve that quote the full tier price is charged, and we begin work. The agreed price does not change unless you request work outside the agreed scope. Hosting renews at $12 a month after the first year and can be cancelled any time. The optional care plan is $100 a month, billed monthly and cancellable any time; additional pages are $150 for up to three.
Ownership
You own your content and the finished website or app outright. Every account we set up on your behalf is registered in your name and your business details: the domain, the hosting account, analytics, the Apple Developer account and the App Store listing. You hold full access and administrative control of all of them, and you may transfer the domain, the website or the app to any person or company, change the registrant or account names, appoint another developer, or export the complete source at any time, without our permission and without charge. BuildSprig retains no rights, licence, lien or claim over your website or app, and we do not lock any part of it to us. Cancelling hosting or the care plan does not affect your ownership. The only exception is the template designs themselves, which remain licensed to BuildSprig and their original designers: you may use your finished site or app however you like, but you may not resell the underlying template as a template.
Apps
Apps are built for iPhone and submitted to the Apple App Store on your developer account. Every app tier includes your first year of Apple Developer Program membership, which we pay on your behalf; the account is registered in your name and Apple bills you directly for renewal after that first year, currently $99 a year. Apple's approval is outside our control, but we handle resubmissions at no charge.
